HIGH SCHOOL
Haltom high school(1992-1995)
A two way player who played defensive tackle and offensive guard. Received every accolade available to a Texas high school player. Blue Chip all-American, first team district 3 years. Received scholarship offers to every major college in America. Chose Baylor University December of 1994.
College Experience
Baylor  (1995-1998)
A four year starter who played guard and tackle on both sides of the offensive line his entire college career. Known for his tenacity and strength bullied his way through four seasons against some of the most superior defensive linemen in college. Well-regarded offensive lineman who suffered a career ending fracture to his tibia and fibula during his last game of his senior season vs. Kansas State.
After losing high draft prediction due to his injury was still drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 1999 draft.
Dallas Cowboys (1999-2002)
2002: In the mix of new coaches and new offensive system started the first five games for the Cowboys prior to being traded to the Chargers. Where he was united with his first NFL offensive lineman coach Hudson Huck. He finished the season with seven starts for the chargers.
2001
: Moved into a starting role for the Cowboys and appeared in all sixteen games...  Was part of offensive line that helped Cowboys Emmit Smith achieve 5 games of over 100 yards and a 1000+ yard season?
2000: Was inactive for the first fifteen weeks of the season. Did not play in other game.
1999: Spent the season on the injured reserve list due to fractured tibia... Drafted in the seventh round by the Cowboys.
San Diego Chargers (2002-2003)
2003: Was the sole Charger lineman to start every week of the season, playing at left guard... Was part of lines which helped LaDanian Tomlinson rush for over 200 yards twice and over 100 yards four more times.
2002: Acquired from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2003 draft pick... Appeared in seven games for the Chargers, starting five at left guard... Appeared briefly at offensive tackle.

Cleveland Browns (2001-present )

2004: Signed as a free agent to a 3 year multimillion dollar contract on March 23... Entered training camp as the starting right guard. Started 10 games until Garmon injured his medial collateral, anterior cruciate and posterior ligaments in his right knee against Baltimore. After rehabbing and a change of head coaches Garmon was released.
After a spending 2006 with the Oakland raiders was released at the deadline of training camp cuts.
Retired 2006.
