Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why does your program last 20 days?
AOF offers adequate time for athletes to improve the skills and techniques learned in our program. Due to the level of training and the individual we allow the athlete at least a month to develop and effectively apply new techniques to their normal regime. Repetition is a key factor to conditioning the mind and body over.
2. What current or former NFL players will be in attendance as player coachers?
The founding owners will attend all sessions. Other coaches in attendance are current and former NFL, CFL, and/or AFL athletes. The AOF Coaches link will be updated as professional athletes are recruited by position needs; however, your session staff will be announced prior to your arrival.
3. Will there be any physical contact during workouts?
AOF is a non-contact program. Although we do not anticipate any contact, incidental contact may arise during workout sessions. Please be advised that helmets or pads will not be used.
4. What ages may participate in the program?
Each session will be divided according to scholastic level (i.e. Middle School, High School, and Collegiate), then sports level (i.e. Jr. Varsity, Varsity, and Collegiate)
July session: ages 11-18__________students will be devided in class to there age range
Aug minecamps: ages 7-18________Students will be devided in class to there age range.
5. What are the safety precautions?
At AOF, your child’s safety will always come first. AOF has devised a Crisis Protection Plan to protect your child in the event of a medical emergency or non-medical emergency. More details will be given at the Parents Info. Meetings.
6. How long have you been in business?
Art of football Inc is in its first year of establishment. Studies for this program have been underway since 2005.
7. Does Art of Football offer insurance?
No. AOF does not offer any medical or travel insurance of any kind. Please check with your current insurance provider for an explanation of coverage prior to your participation. A copy of your health insurance card will be required for participation.
8. What does my son get for the money I am paying?
All athletes can expect a semi-private training environment during each workout session. Specialized training will come under the leadership of current and former NFL, AFL and CFL athletes. Our coaches are some of the best who have played the game; more specifically have perfected your child’s skilled position. Each athlete will receive a hands on experience with elite our program; learning the techniques and skills used by professional athletes at an affordable price.
9. Will the athletes receive progress reports or test stats that show how they improved or rank.
Yes, at the end of each session players will participate in a mini combine. Our mini combine is similar to that of the NFL, but scaled down to match the level and skill set of our athletes. Athlete results will stored in our database for college recruiting. Results will be given to our college bound athletes to assist with applying for athletic scholarships
10. What will my child need to bring?
Athletes are not required to bring any special items. AOF t-shirts will be given at the start of the first workout session. Optional items athlete’s may being include: a towel, water bottle, tape and wraps, weightlifting gloves and a great attitude!
